Why do I need to register to apply for a job with Levert?
Registering with Levert simply creates a file for you in our computer system. We need all our applicants to register with us so that we can match you to any potential job opportunities that you may be suited for.
How much will it cost me to register with Levert?
Levert is a NO FEE agency. There is no cost to you, the employee at any time. There are no registration fees, and there are no assignment fees, there are no hidden fees. Every penny that you earn goes directly to you. On many occasions when a new employee joins us we are asked if prospective Levert employees must pay a fee to us for working at Levert. Through these inquiries it has come to our attention that some agencies deduct a type of employment “fee” from employees’ pay cheques that goes back to the agency. Levert would like to assure all current and future employees that we do not engage in this practice. Levert does not and has never charged our employees a fee for working at Levert
How do I register with Levert?
The quickest and easiest way to register is online. In order to register you will need a resume in a .doc or .rtf format. All you need to do is visit our applicant registration page, attach a copy of your resume, complete the form and press the submit button.
Why do I need a resume?
Your resume is your biggest selling tool. By outlining your skills, education and employment history, it shows us why you are the best applicant for the position. In most cases your resume is your first impression so a good resume is important to your success in your job search.
How do I register if I don’t have my resume on my computer?
Although online registration is preferred because it preserves the formatting of your resume, there are other ways to register. You can always stop by the office at 44B Venture Crescent in North Bay, Ontario with a paper copy of your resume and we would be happy to help you register.
I am trying to register but it says I need a username and password. How do I get this?
When you complete the registration form, the boxes for username and password are something you create. They are not predetermined so you can set your username and password to whatever you would like it to be. Your username and password allow you to log into our website and update your information or apply for jobs.
I attached my resume to my registration but was informed that it was unreadable. Why is this? How do I fix it?
If we are unable to open your resume, it is usually because it was created in a program or format that is not compatible with our computer system (usually Microsoft Word 2007 or WordPerfect). There is an easy solution to this. Open up your resume, click on the file button, click on the save as button. At the bottom of the save window, you will be able to select file type. Choose Rich Text Format (.RTF). Now you can resend it to Levert.
I attached my resume in the proper format when I registered but now when I login and view my resume it doesn’t look the same. What is wrong with my resume?
There is nothing wrong with your resume. When you login and view your resume it is in plain text format so much of the formatting is lost. There is no need to worry as when we open your resume through our system it appears as it was created complete with proper fonts and formatting.
